Fabrication and erection

Structural fabrication

Columns, beams, platforms, stairs and supports, built to drawing and erected true, so the equipment they carry sits right the first time.

Structural fabrication

Working principle

How it works

The working process in four steps.

  1. Loads go down the columns

Beams pass the load of equipment and floors into columns and base plates.

  2. Bracing stops the sway

Diagonal members hold the frame square against wind and vibration.

  3. Connections carry the job

Bolted and welded joints are detailed on the shop drawings.

  4. Base plates meet the foundation

Bolts and grout tie the structure to concrete.
